WHY THE VIRTUAL COOEE?
Professional First. Regional by Nature.
The Virtual Cooee has been built around skilled Australian professionals who live and work in rural, regional and remote communities.
That means businesses can access people with real experience, professional judgement and Australian context, while valuable work and opportunity stay connected to regional communities.

Australia's rural and regional communities are full of people with serious professional experience.
Their location does not make them less capable.
The Virtual Cooee exists to make that expertise easier for businesses to find.
For you, that means access to skilled Australian professionals with local context and real-world experience.
And when you choose regional talent, there is an added benefit: your business spend stays connected to Australian families and communities.
Quality comes first.
The positive regional impact comes with it.
"Our mission is to empower Australian women from the largest regional centres to the most remote rural locations to use their skills and provide their valued services to the world."
A MARKETPLACE WITH A REAL PERSON BEHIND IT
Hi, I'm Dr Libby Roesner,
I created The Virtual Cooee because I have lived both sides of this problem.
I have been the regional professional with skills to offer.
And I have been the business owner looking for capable people I could trust to help carry the load.
My working life has taken me through agricultural science, farming, business ownership, administration, data analysis, and professional services. Along the way I have seen extraordinary capability sitting in regional Australia - often disconnected from the businesses that need it.
The Virtual Cooee was created to close that gap.
To help businesses find the right people.
And to help skilled Australian regional professionals be seen for what they can do.

Support from People Who Understand the Context -
Not Just the Task
Some work is easy to define and hand over.
Other work needs someone who understands what you are trying to achieve, how Australian businesses operate, how your customers think and why the details matter.
That is where the right local specialist makes the difference.
The Virtual Cooee brings together skilled professionals across business administration, finance, marketing, data, systems, projects, digital services, agriculture and more.
They are not simply extra hands.
They bring judgement, experience and capability.
